David: Today is my 28th day of my third round of Sutent. I have no explanation for how good I feel, however reading your article today has me thinking about how our minds affect our physical well being. We've all heard a thousand times "a positive attitude can help conquer cancer" or variations on that theme. I have been waiting for the other shoe to fall in respect to side effects and how I feel for 28 days. Now that I'm at the end of it, I realize that the Sutent gave all it had and I made it through OK. Maybe I even shrunk some tumors along the way.

There were some days that I was knocked down with fatigue, food tasted terrible and my feet hurt like hell. But now I have two glorious weeks to get ready for the next round and I am optimistic and feeling very positive about it all. That could be the reason I feel good today.

Thanks again for your writings...I look forward to reading your Blog

Happy Birthday Dave!

You sound great! I think McDonald's quarter pounder with cheese and a Coke is about the best food combo in the universe, next to pizza of course (God's perfect food).

A day with friends always lifts the spirits. Glad you are starting to find your way out of your prison. Remember, you are the one with the keys out.

Enjoy your day!
