Ok, I am not new to RCC, just new here, so PLEASE bear with me. I fall into the Knight category. My best friend, companion, lover, etc. was diagnosed with RCC a year ago. Since that time, to say it has been a roller coaster ride would be a definite understatement!! And for one who HATES roller coasters, that is a scary thing. With Nexavar, there has been considerable tumor shrinkage. A radical nephrectomy was the first step, then fluid being drawn off a lung and the diagnosis of mets on the lung, rib bone and pelvis. In the last year, we have seen tumor shrinkage, but a reduction in dosage led to new growth on the rib and pelvis areas. So, a partial dosage increase has followed. Now we are dealing with muscle and joint pain. Being the ever optimist, I am hoping for just plain old arthritis kicking in with a vengeance in his weakened immune state. His daughter, being the ever pessimist, immediately falls apart and thinks the worst. I am not sure what I am looking for here, just maybe finally a place to share, get feedback and know that I am so not alone in this battle with him. On his best days, before all this came to bear, he could be difficult to be around, just because of the events in his life and his past. Now, sometimes he asks me to stay away for days so he can get back to his center and try and cope with this latest issue. For just a moment, can anyone point me to the best stock options for tissues and pity party supplies?

Thanks for having this, and for letting me rant and ramble.
