Best Cover Competition at AMC

Oh, the joys of August for the MagaBlogger and his hardworking crew here at MPA!  It's when we spend hours looking at covers for ASME's second annual Best Cover Competition (BCC's as it's called by witty insiders here).  The covers -- more than 138 at last count -- are rolling in like heavy surf at Montauk. (The MagaBlogger, as you may have noticed, never fails to use a surf metaphor when he can.) Examining all 138 digital images is the best way to lose 45 precious minutes from a day.  We're expecting lots more (and guilty parties know who they are!). 

AMC concludes Tuesday, October 30, with the announcement of the winners.  So don't cut out early.
