There's more chatter in the press about some big brands considering a move to a paid model. This topic will be discussed in full at the March 3 conference during the "Are Paid Sites the New Black?" panel. (By the way, Gary Hoenig of ESPN The Magazine is the latest addition to the panel, which will be moderated by Mediaweek's Jim Cooper.) The latest media company to ponder the paid model is The New York Times, according to this Bloomberg story.
